New study on brainstem processing with Cochlear Implants

We published our first paper from the SpaCIal Hearing project: In a collabroation with Prof. Dietz and Dr Hu from Oldenburg Uni, Michaela shows how electrical stimulation of the auditory nerve causes temporal hyper-precision of brainstem neurons, which in turn alters spatial sensitivity of LSO processing. Hopefully, this work can - in the long run - help to overcome the current problems with CI-based spatial hearing. Congrats Ela!
